Halloween Scorpion Venom Punch

Halloween Scorpion Venom Punch is a fun, spooky drink and the perfect 3-ingredient recipe for your Halloween horror night. Lemon Jell-O adds a bright, eerie hue, while pineapple juice (and optional vodka) bring the flavor. This punch puts the sting into any Halloween party and works for both kids and adults. A popular Halloween drink here since 2017.

Ingredients

• Lemon Jello mix
• Pineapple juice
• Vodka (optional)

I love Halloween and if you could see my home, you’ll see how true this is. You see, the props in the pictures are nothing I bought specially for this post. They are actually items currently displayed and that are currently being used in my home (like the scorpion glass below).

Halloween punch with or without alcohol

You can make 2 batches of this drink, 1 for the kids without alcohol and a fun one for the adults with vodka. This way the kids will feel like they’re drinking the same thing as the adults.

If you’ve been a long time reader, you’ll be familiar with the Brownie Graveyard I made a few years ago and the Halloween popcorn (pictured below) which would be a perfect snack and dessert to serve with this punch.

The focus of this Halloween party punch is not some much the drink itself, even though it is delicious in its simplicity, its all about the look.  The look of scorpion venom for a creepy Halloween drink.

I don’t know what color scorpion venom actually is—and I don’t ever want to—but bright yellow works for me. It even looks like it could glow in the dark. You could also use green Jell-O for a ghoulish green Halloween punch, or combine both for extra fun!

Halloween props

Laboratory beakers make a fun and spooky way to serve this drink, and you can find a great selection at Michael’s craft store. The scorpion skeleton is a favorite prop we picked up last year, and the skull vodka bottle has a permanent spot on our bar alongside the other decanters.
